Learn  to make pasta by hand, using a traditional pasta roller, with basic  wholesome ingredients.   After the basic technique is mastered, we move  to making filled pasta shapes, particularly ravioli in a freeform  fashion. We will enjoy a lunch of the ravioli pasta made by our efforts.  After lunch, we make silky smooth strands of colourful fettuccine. You  will take home all of the fettuccine made on the day, which is usually  sufficient to feed 5. Instructions on storing the pasta will also be  given. Unfortunately this workshop is not suitable for those with a gluten-intolerance.

Trainer Bio: Maria from My Green Garden. Maria's training in making pasta has come from her Italian heritage and is a skill she learnt from her nonna and mother. She has taught dozens of people now this age-old technique of making something from scratch and then cooking it with love for family and friends. Maria understands the limitations that everyday cooks face and so her workshop is practical and above all do-able in your own kitchen.

07 July 2018 • Pasta with Passione - Maria from My Green Garden

The class is structured in such a nice way; fresh made pasta for lunch, and an afternoon of pasta-making - the final product we got to take home. The teacher was so knowledgeable and had really lovely stories around the culture of growing up with pasta making. I would do it again.

My partner and I really enjoyed this class! It was the perfect length of time, it passed by so quickly and we enjoyed every minute of the day. Lunch was delicious and we feel like we can really start to make pasta at home for our families! Thank you so much :)
